2009 Bob King Memorial Golf Outing a tremendous success!

Over $17,000 Raised This Year!

This year's Bob King Memorial Golf Outing was held on Friday, June 26, 2009, at Raccoon Hill Golf Club in Kent, Ohio, with 144 golfers and more than 60 non-golfers in attendance.  Through the generous support of everyone in attendance, our Gold and Bronze Sponsors, our Hole Sponsors and all the individuals and companies who contributed in so many ways, the Bob King Memorial raised over $17,000 to be contributed to the following organizations for the research, awareness and treatment of this terrible disease:

Amyloidosis Support Group

We were honored this year to have some very special people at our Bob King Memorial Golf Outing.  Mike and Kelley Dittman from Cleveland (left) and Tim and Connie Hornbeck from Stow (right).  Mike and Tim both have amyloidosis.  Mike's is the familial type, and Tim's is primary amyloidosis.  We wish them all the best!
